March 19, 2017 2.4 Colorado Cat Voyage Date
Today was an exciting day. Amanda, Rob, and Whitney joined us on the boat. We had
the whole James family with us for a night and it was very special.We grilled hamburgers, and celebrated Rob's birthday. While waiting for them to arrive, Jim and Ben took the dinghy for a spin, while out a bird decided to take a rest on Ben's head. I guess it looked pretty stable. The cool breeze kept everybody comfortable all night. It was a great treat. Thanks guys!
Great pictures and great fun! Bill says the bird would not have landed on him, but doused him instead. He got a kick out of the great picture Jim captured along with Ben's patience!

ReplyDeleteIt was, indeed, a great treat to spend time aboard the Cat with my family. I'm looking forward to a much longer stay later this summer. Thank you for taking such good care of Ben, and helping him grow his inner-sailor. It was pretty cool watching him captain the dinghy by himself to pick me up at the dock. Love you - and continued safe travels.
