March 5th, 2017 Day 5
Living in a marina is like living in a very small community. You have the ultra rich, wealthy, middle class, retired, working class, and the free spirits all within 1 city block.
Our next door neighbor is a mega yacht with its private crew (at least 3). The 28ft older sailboat in
front of us, is from Cedaredge, Colorado (50 miles from Grand Junction). The owner of the small yacht behind us is from Grand Junction, Colorado. SMALL WORLD The small sailboat behind the ultra yacht is our free spirit. He and his large dog are living life free and easy. He is going where the wind blows them.The yacht that is at the far end of our community is an ultra mega yacht that is a 100ft super-liner. Needless to say it takes up a lot of dock space.
We all have the same things in common----weather and water. So we sit and wait till conditions are do-able and set off to the next port of call and another new community to learn about and explore. Hopefully that will be us on Tuesday.
