This blog is late I apologize but a few things happened yesterday.  Nothing bad just a lot going on.  Will fill you in quickly.  We got up and set off to explore Norfolk.  Breakfast in Portsmouth, in

a restaurant that the staff from the marina recommended.  It was an old pool hall with on one in

there except the staff,  hint 1. When we ordered, the waitress said they were out of white bread and salsa and would run to Dollar General to get some, hint 2.  I meal arrived but Jim was waiting on the trip to Dollar General.  By the time I finished he just got his and it was not good, hint 3.

We are finally ready to leave and I go to use the bathroom.  There is no working light.  I tell the staff and they calmly state they know it, can't reach the light fixture because it is to high and no ladder.  I use the mens.  As we leave the place I push on the glass door and it falls off the hinges

and I am holding the door so it won't crash on the cement.  They just laugh and grab it.  They

push it open and hold it so we can escape.  On to Norfolk.  We take a tour of the Navy yard and

we saw a lot of ships.  I plan to share the pictures but that is my next problem.  Jim surprises me

with a Mac computer and I now have to figure out how to use it, and that will take a while.  

When we got back to Portsmouth we went to dinner at a 1945 theater that has become a dinner

theater.  It was great.  We decided if that it was at home we would go to the movies a lot.  It was like eating in a very nice restaurant, for a reasonable price.  Didn't get home until late, didn't and haven't figured out my computer, and we are off to the Chrysler Museum.  Hope to have things going 

shortly.  Until then I will be using my old computer.  Yesterdays pictures are on the new one, figures.  keep your fingers crossed.  I am suppose to go to school on Wednesday.
