I want to share some of the pictures I took yesterday of the Navy Yard.  I wish I could remember all the names, types, sizes, etc of the 20 or so ships we saw.  There are a couple facts that I remember and I will post it by the ship.  Today we went to the Chrysler Museum of Art and Glass Museum.

If you have never been, you need to go.  It is rated 3rd in the nation and Very, Very Nice.  The glass

section is amazing.  They have glass vases from Rome 300BC.  Pictures couldn't begin to show the beauty of the stuff.  So now back to the ships.  Norfolk is the largest Navy Shipyard in the USA.

They build, repair, and update them all.  We saw Aircraft carriers, Destroyers, Tankers, Fuelers,
