Today is our 48th anniversary!  We can't believe it, (I'm not old

enough to be married 48 years).  Never in all our wildest dreams did we ever think we would be having a second honeymoon on Georgian Bay, in our own boat.

If you figure we started the trip in Mississippi, (it is on the loop),

we have traveled through Mississippi, Alabama, Florida, Georgia,

South Carolina, North Carolina, Virginia, Maryland, Delaware, New Jersey, and New York.  Two countries, 4 canal systems,

countless rivers (big and small),  Atlantic Ocean, Gulf of Mexico,

Chesapeake Bay, Lake Ontario, Lake Huron, over 80 locks, cities, towns, hamlets, and over 4000 miles.  When we do a second honeymoon, we do it big time!

 

It means a lot to us that so many of our family and friends have 

come and enjoyed this adventure with us, are watching it through

the blog, and encouraging us through our stressful days that we can indeed do this. 

Jim and I are indeed blessed with a great circle of family and friends.  We love and miss you ALL.  Hugs and Kisses to you all.
