July 6 & 7, 2017

I am not getting lazy in my blog writing, there was nothing new to
write yesterday.  We are still at Parry Sound, Ontario and will be until the 10th.  Yesterday we left the marina and headed out to our anchorage for another quiet night on the water.  This time other boats were in our spot so we shared and it was big enough to accommodate all of us.  Today we will go back to the Marina and
pick up a car for the weekend.  We are planning  tomorrow to see the interior of Ontario and Georgian Bay.  Last night our anchorage friends all got together and shared stories about the area.  It was a very pleasant evening until a random rainstorm came pouring in and we left all our windows open.  Jim jumped into the dinghy and raced back to the boat to close them.  He was drenched, and by the time he had closed all the windows the storm was over.  Another
experience and lessoned learned. We all had a good laugh at Jim's expense but that is the life of the captain.  Pretty soon our lesson

book is going to be too big to carry around.  Georgian Bay as of right now is very enjoyable and relaxing compared to the canal system.  Sure hope it stays that way.
